Being Healthy

Inner beauty is all about what’s inside, and a major part of that is eating right!

It has been proven that eating healthy can:


Increase a better mood

  •           Serotonin is a chemical that the body produces that goes to the brain to improve mood.

  • -       Foods such as fish, turkey and yogurt have tryptophan in them, and once digested the body turns them into Serotonin.

  • -       Complex carbohydrates also regulate blood sugar levels, which is good for your body.



Less stress

  • -       Foods with omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin C can help reduce the amount of stress hormones, such as salmon and other seafood.

  • -       Nuts and spinach has magnesium helps manage levels to protect yourself from over consumption of chemicals

  • -       Green tea and black tea also reduce hormones that increase stress.


Flatter stomach

  • -       Eating healthier foods, such as high-fiber foods like whole grains, fruits and vegetables reduces constipation, which allows your body to detox its system.

  • -       Try eating food that is low in sodium, sugar and saturated fats, this also limits a belly.

  • -       Another great tip: is to eat slower, this make your more mindful of what you’re eating and also reduces the amount of air you swallow which prevents excessive bloating.

  • -       Which will boost your body confidence and make you feel great!

    Absolutely love this post! The tips are great and they are things that every girl can do. They do not require a lot of money or effort. I really like how you stressed that food can help you loose weight and make you feel great. A lot of girls believe that non eating is the way to loose weight and this is not true at all! I am feeling extremely stressed so I will make myself a cup of tea!
